Event Description: Adapted and directed by graduate student
Kyle Cooper, based on John Ford’s play
Contains fog/haze and gory violence and mature themes.
Not suitable for children or the weak of heart.
For Mature Audiences
Savage, sexual, barbarous and bloody. John Ford’s murderous masterpiece exposes the incestuous love of Giovanni and Annabella, a brother and sister squeezed in the damnable grip of sexual discovery and forbidden passion. This ravishing and fierce Jacobean juggernaut wreaked havoc when it was written in the 1600’s—and in every production since. |
